1. Overview

At Ae Design Jewellery, we want you to love your jewellery. We take pride in the quality of our craftsmanship and are committed to providing pieces that meet the highest standards.

Our Refunds & Returns Policy is aligned with the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your rights in the event of faulty or misrepresented goods.

 

2. Eligibility for Refund or Exchange

You may request a refund or exchange for eligible items within 30 days of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is part of our Pronto Lab Collection.
  • The item is unworn, undamaged, and in brand new condition.
  • The item is returned in its original packaging, including any certificates, boxes, or documentation.
  • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation) is provided.

All returned items will be inspected upon receipt to ensure they meet these criteria before any refund or exchange is approved.

 

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:

  • Custom-made jewellery, including bespoke and personalised designs
  • Items altered, resized, or modified after purchase
  • Sale, discounted, or clearance items (unless faulty)
  • Items showing signs of wear, damage, or misuse

All custom orders require a 25% non-refundable deposit before production begins. Once work has commenced, no cancellations or refunds will be accepted.

 

4. Manufacturing Faults & Warranty

All Ae Design Jewellery pieces are covered by a lifetime manufacturing warranty against defects in craftsmanship or materials.

  • This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, theft, or misuse.
  • If a genuine manufacturing fault is found, we will repair or replace the item at no cost.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

We reserve the right to assess and determine whether a product fault is covered under warranty.

 

5. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

 

6. Returning Your Item

To initiate a return or refund request:

  1. Email info@aedesign.com.au with your order number, name, and reason for return.
  2. Our team will review your request and provide return instructions.
  3. Pack your item securely in its original packaging and send it using a trackable postal or courier service.
  4. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.

 

7. Change of Mind

Please note, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind on:

  • Custom-made jewellery,
  • Special orders, or
  • Items that have been worn or damaged after purchase.

However, we may offer resizing, polishing, or adjustment services at an additional cost.

 

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

  • Is faulty or unsafe,
  • Is significantly different from its description or sample, or
  • Does not perform as reasonably expected.
